On the other end of the comp card spectrum, you have the first time dabblers in modeling. The ones who heard from a friend that modeling gigs provide you with decent money that you can do on the side of your actual job. Sometimes they prove to be quite the natural and sometimes they need a bit of coaching and instruction to get where they need to go.
Tuesday was one of those instructional lessons with a side of photo shoot.
Traveling to all of the “finest locations” in the words of Kristia, four looks were knocked out in only a few hours after hair and makeup. Kristia would take the time to illustrate how she wanted the model to pose every new location and I donned my Reflector Girl cape and helped block off light and try to get some light bouncing up into the subject when we could get it to work properly.
I still wouldn’t complain if I looked like her at the age of 40!
